The directories listed below were at the time of inclusion FREE submission, some require reciprocal links others do not. All the directories have been checked for link value. i.e. directories which employ link masking or nofollow techniques have not been included therefore giving every link the maximum benefit to your site.

This techniques is often accompanied by a javascript function to show your sites url in the status bar or capturing the click event. The link masking methods used to inflate a sites pagerank is particularly distasteful as these sites are deliberately trying to get one over on ordinary webmasters, my message is detect and boycott these sites.
NoFollow - The nofollow attribute invalidates any link which has the attribute set, meaning that Google will not include the link in the pagerank calculation. This attribute does have some usefulness other than blocking link value. If you have a site with many links and not much content then you may use this attribute to prevent search engine spam filters penalizing your site. I have used the no follow attribute on this page to prevent just that, however when time allows I will be adding content and splitting this page which will allow me to remove the nofollow attribute.
